celebrations were stupid and hot and boring. but today was fun fun fun (:
we finally had out long awaited picnic. it rained in the morning so it was a little wet. waited for li to come before we could sit on the grass cuz she had the mats. ate our nice picnic food and sat under the burning sun cuz nikki pointed us to the wrong area and we were too lazy to move. and now i'm like a tad burnt. i have a sleeve mark and its even kinda pain to rub my nose and my nose and my cheeks are kinda red): well anyway after like about 2 hours under the afternoon sun we left to town and met sulin. walked for a bit shopped then nikki and li left then soon sulin left and shinny and i went nydc to eat then bought bk to bring there and cabbed there but then by the time we reached the whole damn place was packed like crazy it was worse than being in a concert la! walked for abit trying to get anywhere we could ended up getting squished inbetween the crowds so we had to walk through the leaves and branched to get out and it really hurt i've got a scratch on my knee): walked all the way to like the office buildings and all and ended up accidentally stealing someone's cab to get to victoria theatre. heh i though i flagged it down okay! well anyway it was much less crowded at victoria theatre but there were palm trees blocking us. waited around for a bit before the fireworks came out. pretty stuff (: and shinny seemed so fascinated haha it was so so so nice la worth the walking a billion miles. well after it was over ended up walking through the mass of people and stuffing ourselves inbetween sweaty and rude people and got to raffles city and called a cab (: got to my place and shinny got picked up. well it was a nice adventure though i probably wont do it anytime soon. unless i manage to find a decent and empty place. its not nice to enjoy fireworks with tons of people and cars around. well anyway our picnic was a success! i finally got to shop though i didnt get alot i came home alot more broke, and i had a wonderful time with all of them (: esp shinny! heh studying yesterday and fireworks today (:
oh only half the photos are up i'll post the rest tmr. i'm tired ): even though i slept for like almost 11 hours yesterday-this morning. i'm still tired i think its all the walking. okay then goonight world (:
